HCV Pacific Partners acquires and develops institutional-quality office properties primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. Its investment strategy includes optimizing investor returns by finding undervalued assets and repositioning them in the marketplace.

Following this strategy HCV and its investors have capitalized on investment opportunities available when lenders liquidate their portfolios. In addition, HCV has acquired non-institutional grade commercial buildings in the heart of San Francisco's financial district, and renovated and repositioned them into Class A buildings.
For example, in 1990 HCV and its investors acquired an historic Class B commercial building in the financial district. Because of its attractive location, HCV repositioned the building into a Class A office building after substantial renovations. Since the renovation, HCV has re tenanted the building and it is currently more than 90% leased.

HCV believes that through intense management and leasing, these properties will achieve significant returns in the long term for its investors. In addition to capitalizing on investment opportunities available as a result of lender liquidations, HCV also looks at new development opportunities emphasizing superior locations in proven markets.
